Venice Jade M. Barinque, CPA, is a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Magna Cum Laude graduate at the University of San Jose – Recoletos, Cebu City, Philippines. She had trainings and exposures in the field of accounting, finance, taxation, law, internal controls, external auditing and financial controls. She is team and detail-oriented, works well under pressure, an open-minded woman with a strong ability to crunch for numbers and enjoys a challenging work environment.

As an External Auditor, she had various industry exposures in the following fields:
Utility (Power Generation and Distribution and Water Distribution), Beverage Manufacturing, Holding Companies, Trading Companies, Hospitality, Foundations, Industrial Products Manufacturing, Real Estate and Logistics, Media and Entertainment and Pre-Need.

As an Accountant engaged in commerce and industry, she had exposures in pawnshop, lending, jewelry shop and allied services, insurance agency, manufacturing, pre-operating, hospitality and real-estate companies.

As a Financial Controller, her functions include: ensuring that the company complies with the regulatory agencies’ reportorial requirements and regulations; ensuring that the accounting processes are properly implemented; and ensuring that taxation, audit, accounting, financial and investment issues are timely resolved and acted with.
