I have been in the animal nutrition industry since 2015. For at least 2 years, I have worked as a feed formulator with roles such as formulation management, research and development and documentation control. I benchmark the feeds I formulated through a series of trials before releasing it to the market. I also conduct seminars to sales personnel, animal care technicians, farm personnel to promote food safety and our feeds as well.
After 2 years, I transferred to an animal health products sales company as a technical support specialist where I promoted products to the client through presentations, round-table discussions and seminars. Aside from the mentioned role, I also conduct trials and propose protocols to clients for them to see the effect of the product, and at the end, I will collate and present the data to the sales team and clients as well. I was also given the task to be a product manager. I was given certain products to be handled in terms of pricing scheme, incentive scheme, marketing plan (along with Marketing Department), planning of importation, etc.
