About the Role:

 

With good business growth, we are looking for enthusiastic Production Planner who is responsible in coordinating with customers’ orders into a feasible production plan and order the incoming raw materials to meet the desired production plan.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:


– Work closely with Sales and collate sales
– Coordinate with a cross functional team to ensure production plan is feasible, understood and meets the needs of the customer
– Monitor production rates and raw material prices, contacting suppliers and checking inventories.
– Forecasts the future need of certain materials in order to increase or decrease production levels accordingly
– Provides necessary reports to the Supply Chain/ Warehouse Manager or other managers as required
– Works well with managers to execute rules and regulations of the company
– Manages the production flow from beginning to end, ensuring all necessary communication is coordinated to ensure production success

 

Skills and Experience:

 

– At least 2 years’ proven experience as a Production Planner in a food manufacturing environment preferred
– Proficient with Microsoft Office, running MRP system; SAP is a plus
– Preferably 2-4 years’ experience in materials/ production planning
– Required Skills: Materials planning, Inventory, Warehouse, Logistics, Mathematics, Procurement and Scheduling
– Candidate must be initiative, analytical, detail oriented, organized, team player and bring professional attitude towards work
– Customer focus is a must and the ability to co-ordinate a cross functional team
– The ability to influence and get results from all members of the value chain
– Excellent English communication skills (Written and Oral)
